Would installing a storm door solve the issue of needing to seal the bottom of an exterior door with uneven gaps?

Hey, so I’ve got this exterior door that doesn’t quite close properly because the wall it’s on is a bit wonky. When it’s shut, there’s about a 5/16″ gap between the bottom of the door and the threshold. And on the handle side, there’s a 3/16″ gap between the bottom of the door and the floor, which makes it tough to fully open. Do you think getting a storm door would help with this issue, since it has a bottom seal?

If you take off the trim, you might be able to use shims in certain spots to get it back to being square
