Will using this charging setup be safe, as I am hesitant to try it and risk causing harm to my home?

Do you think this charging set up is safe? I haven’t tested it out yet and I really don’t want to risk burning down my house.
Haha, you’re going to blow up that sealed battery like a balloon. That charger is a bit too much.

I wouldn’t recommend it since the charger for those toy batteries is smaller and requires a trickle charger. I once bought one at Batteries Plus.
You can place it in your garage. They are more cost-effective to replace in case of a fire 🙂

That should work fine as long as it meets the voltage specifications for that SLA battery.
I may not be a chemist, but if I start messing around with random chemicals in my basement, I’m the one who has to deal with evacuating the neighborhood.
As long as your battery and charger have the same voltage, there’s no reason not to use it. Just remember to charge it outside or in a garage away from flammable objects for safety.
