Will the emergency light still function if powered from the line side of the switch, even during potential electrocution?

So, the emergency light should be connected to the line side of the switch. It seems right to me – that way you’ll have light even if you’re dealing with an electrical shock.
Definitely the setup is terrible but you definitely know there’s power in that switchbox.
I was too scared to even wash my hands in that bathroom, Hower 🙂
