Why does the design always fall short in 2024 when a simple adjustment could make a significant difference?

It’s 2024 and we still can’t find a better design than this? And seriously, why are the knock outs always stacked so close together? Just moving them one millimeter further apart would fix the whole issue.
Rotate the box and utilize the outer holes. Alternatively, figure out a way to make it function.
