Why can’t they reposition hole 1 for standard screws to attach to studs on these things with removable sides?

Could someone help me understand why they don’t just move the holes back 1 inch so we can use regular screws to attach these to studs? And maybe make the sides somewhat flat if they can be removed? It’s frustrating!

There are brackets available that can be attached to the front screws….you should try following the correct process

It’s not that difficult, come on, you can do it. They designed it so you can add more if necessary.

Hmm, could it be that those boxes are not meant to be attached directly to a stud? You might have the wrong boxes. You should contact an electrician

Or consider using a box mounted on the side 🤷‍♂️

Self-tapping screws sure come in handy.

I can recall my days as a inexperienced apprentice, clueless about the appropriate materials for the task. I’m grateful I picked up those skills at a young age. It’s hard to believe not knowing how to utilize a plastic box. 🤣

Just like attempting to fit an electrical outlet into a convenient box upon arrival.

Can you show me you’re new without actually saying it?

Incorrect box selection

They produce lots of boxes that are UL listed for mounting to studs on the side.
