Who is responsible for the impressive Salt Shed in Chicago that was showcased at a recent event?

I have 134 brothers and sisters.
I’ve seen guys really having a hard time figuring out those angles!
It’s tricky enough to get the angles right, but making sure they’re all parallel is even harder!
I built a 5000sq’ cabinet shop from the ground up in a steel building. The project manager didn’t have much experience with underground work, so he bid it for exposed EMT overhead. Although it turned out great, the labor and material costs were really high. The finished job looked good, but it went way over budget – I was surprised they were able to move in! This was for TNT cabinet in an Atlanta suburb.
Prefers using a digital level to get the job done.
Has always relied on a protractor for measurements, it’s pretty simple.

If given the time and space, we could keep this up all day.
When testing, start with one stick. Once you nail it, bend all the others in the same way. A helpful tip for beginners. Save the rigid ones for later, after mastering EMT. 😉
I recently caught a show there and I was really impressed. The venue is top-notch.
Must be a union position
Wants to emphasize that non-union guys also do excellent work.
Took 6 years to complete his work.
Prioritizes quality over quantity, you silly goose.
That comes out to a hefty 1.7 MILLION dollars.
Sounds even more impressive.
Uy Harrelson I respectfully disagree.
Reg Miller absolutely, I have experience in chemical plants and oil refineries. I’m confident in my skills.
Uy Harrelson I believe both sides should have the ability to bend concentric bends with a hand bender. Attention to detail is key.
Feeling so proud!
I also acknowledge the high quality of work. I would definitely agree with anyone who appreciates the level of skill. However, I do have some concerns about the cost analysis.
This is exactly why I chose to become an electrotechnician 😅
Ow That’s the Shit. It’s pretty simple once you have the measurements for the first two pieces, then you can just continue with the following ones.
This is what excites you. Bending EMT is something anyone can do. Not even an electrical license is needed to bend pipe
Try creating a control setup for an automated picking warehouse. That’s the real deal. And then attempt to troubleshoot a control panel that you didn’t install. That’s a true electrician
Ask the person who bent the pipe if they can also install a 3 way switch
Seems like you really know your stuff. Congrats on a job well done!
It’s interesting to see all those bent pipes. Is it about repetition or skill?
Doesn’t think it’s a big deal that it’s thin wall on a new install.
Reat job on keeping it clean!
I always make sure to voice my opinion when I’m there

Who said there’s no creativity in electrical work? The person who does this kind of work every day doesn’t need recognition. It’s the pride in the work that matters.
Definitely not a union job
LU#134 fist bump
Absolutely no doubts
It certainly was. I shared it in my local 134 group and they mentioned the artist’s name.
Did you really post it online? Well, if so, that definitely confirms it must be true! Darn it, I’ve been ignoring all those local moms that are looking to have a good time!
Texas mom
Come on , I wasn’t going to disrespect your mom like that! Show some respect !!
That’s really cool right there

Appreciate it, buddy
As an audio engineer, the other part of my life involves working with some of the most expensive speaker brands. I assume the person in charge had no problem investing in top-notch quality.
Kane You’re right on the money. The lighting, sound, and power are all top-notch!

Looking good! 😊😊
Every single one of those 134 guys pipes like it’s second nature
Wow! That is some impressive work!!
The appearance is on point, just as it should be!! You get what you pay for!!!
Tight tight tight
I’m also a fan of the line array speakers!!!!
Super cool. 👍
Hey, as a controls tech, I totally agree that it’s basically just pipe, and the person who did that, might or might not have any other skills aside from bending pipe. However, I can definitely recognize good craftsmanship when I see it, and that’s some impressive craftsmanship right there! It’s great to see someone being appreciated on this page for a change! Also, let’s remember that we don’t really know the person, they could be just as skilled in motor controls and every other aspect of electricity as well, we can’t be sure.
I’m mostly focused on control work these days, it would probably take me a whole day and a bunch of sticks to really get into a groove.
Absolutely fantastic accuracy with indicators and trade entries. The beginner to expert course is top-notch, and the teachers are incredible. Richard’s expertise is widely recognized in the group. od bless you Levi T Wilkerson.

Why is everyone acting this way? This is union labor. It’s nonunion work. One day, you’ll all realize we all put on our pants one leg at a time. We all handle things that can be dangerous. We all take risks with the unknown. And when it catches you, sometimes it doesn’t let go. We all deal with electricity. That’s why we are electricians. We are all part of the same team.
So chubby and beautiful
Very neat
134 brothers worked on that incredible piece of art. ⚡️
Seems to be in great shape.
What a pain in the butt, good job
As a proud member of IBEW Local 302 for 43 years, great job. IBEW always delivers quality work.
You’re a fan, huh? 😁
Damn, that’s your brother for you. You’re a pro at running pipes and a skilled worker – everyone wants you, unlike (Seth) 🤣
Poor little Seth, 😆
Hey , all I’m saying is if he put in more effort, they would appreciate him more. Sorry, not everyone can be as awesome as us.
Literally straight out of the pages of a textbook
