“Who else has tackled the nightmare of multiple layers of wallpaper while flipping a house and found a budget-friendly solution like paint and hardwood flooring?”

Hey everyone! Just wanted to pop in and share some exciting news. My husband and I have decided to flip our house and sell it to move closer to our hometown. It’s definitely a project in progress, but we finally started on it and tonight we finished the hallway bathroom. Let me tell you, dealing with all that old wallpaper in the house has been a struggle! I can’t stand the stuff.
But, we found a great deal at Walmart this past weekend – a can of paint for $13 and some hardwood flooring for $9 a box. We only spent $40 to redo our bathroom and it looks amazing! We almost gave up on the first night dealing with that stubborn wallpaper. Who puts three layers of wallpaper on a wall, seriously?
All that’s left now is to get some white paint for the trim. Check out the before and after pictures of our bathroom makeover! It’s been quite the journey but we’re really happy with how it turned out.
