Who can recommend the best DIY repair method for a damaged bootz tub to avoid replacing it and ruining recently done tile work?

So, I’ve got this dinged-up bootz tub, and I’m not quite sure how it got damaged. We had a bunch of folks working on renovations here, but no one mentioned anything about it. Someone attempted a repair, but the paint they used peeled off. Any tips on DIY fixing this? I really don’t want to replace the tub and mess up the tile that was just done three months ago. It’s frustrating not knowing who caused the damage! 😞

It is made of porcelain. If the manufacturer is unable to provide support, you might want to consider a porcelain repair kit. You can find them on Amazon or at a supply house

Whenever I chipped my stoves while renting, the porcelain repair kit worked wonders for me. Just remember to apply thin coats and take your time! It worked well enough that I never faced charges during move out inspections.
