Which type of cove cutting bit – horizontal or vertical – is more superior for making German lap siding using a delta shaper?

I’m thinking about making German lap siding for my house with a delta shaper. I noticed they have both horizontal and vertical cove cutting bits, do you know if one is better than the other? Has anyone tried making cove siding before?
Using a vertical piece is simpler for the router, yet it’s much more challenging to move a board vertically on the router table or to move a router horizontally along the board.
The yellow piece doesn’t need a fence, but it does need more torque, especially at a lower rpm, something a shaper could offer.
