Which should come first in our kitchen renovation: installing beadboard paneling around the cabinets or adding the island peninsula and countertop?

We’re currently working on sprucing up our kitchen by adding an island (or should I say peninsula? 😂) and planning to put beadboard paneling 4ft up the walls. I’m wondering if we should install the beadboard around the cabinets before the countertop goes in to make the installation easier. The beadboard isn’t very thick, but it might take away a bit of surface area on the cabinet edge. Do you think it’ll be an issue for the countertop installation? Should we do the beadboard first or the counters first? What’s your take on it?
I think it’s easier to start with the bead board first. Cutting around the countertop profiles can be tricky.
Yeah, it’s best to complete the walls and floors before moving on to installing the cabinets and then the countertop.
