What unexpected event caused everything to suddenly explode while you were working on something else?

Yep, it sure did.

Oh yeah, it totally exploded by itself, can you believe it? šš
Welcome aboard!
Anode, cathode, kaboom! š
The bias must have been incorrect.
Is that how you presented it to the foreman?
Encountered something funny š
Well, that’s even better for making some more bank š
Hey, we’re going to take care of it tomorrow
Hey, can you check the amps on the fire pump meter for ?
Make sure to double-check the breaker size and ensure it matches the feeders. Sometimes contractors overlook piping and feeding the fire pump after the contract is completed, leading to issues during Commissioning. Also, verify the cable sizing from the enerator Distribution to avoid any problems. ‘t forget to inspect the Breaker on the main switchboard to confirm everything is in order. Look into the NEC guidelines and see if you can obtain the Single Line Diagram from the Client. Remember, if the wire size isn’t correct, those wires will only have half the lifespan.
You should sort it out or you’ll be held accountable for it
Seems like the smoke decided to make an exit. Haha
You’d probably have a higher chance of getting struck by lightning than that happening during a call.
Watch out, the insurance might drag you into a legal battle. My company got caught up in that a few times lately and we were totally innocent.
That’s the line she dropped

Sure thing
Looks like might be…getting fired!
No way! It’s all on you to work on it. Well done! šš¤£
Hey, I once witnessed a socket where the rigid service chase was struck by lightning. It blew the entire meter out of the socket, leaving behind some melted guts that were arcing – one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen.
Seems like it was yanked down and had a short circuit, based on the slant of the meter or socket that’s now bent downwards and the cover bent in the center. Maybe someone attempted to step on it to adjust their position on a ladder or something. šš»āāļø
No one laid a finger on it, it was raining cats and dogs when it happened
Something definitely happened at some point because the front panel cover is pulled out in the middle. My best guess is that something caused the meter to come down and arc out on the panel (or begin to arc) on the circular cutout of the cover, potentially affecting the power entering the meter or socket. If you zoom in, you can kinda see where the arcing started and melted the cover
Or perhaps the arc/explosion caused the meter to look damaged, just a thought
I was thinking about that, so I decided to ask Ai about the chances of a meter box randomly exploding. Here’s what it told me: ‘The likelihood of a meter enclosure randomly arcing and exploding is really low. They are designed to be sealed and are not likely to have electrical discharges. However, if we take into account the possibility of a fault happening inside, like a surge or internal failure, then the chances of an explosion or arcing can be calculated. According to NIST, the probability of an electrical arc happening in a meter enclosure due to an internal fault is about 1 in a million.’
Wow!!!
Yikesy cha cha ching
Can you share pictures of the interior tomorrow? I’m interested to see if there are any openings where a snake or rodent could have gotten in.
I once witnessed capacitors exploding at 2.3kv…that could wake the dead!
Oh no, what happened?!
That sounds like a great reward.
Are you only sharing on here to have a backup story? š
Haha, it just exploded…š¤£
That’s a new one for me! š
The meter’s seal is still intact at the bottom. It appears to have a bolt on 400 amps.

Definitely
