What type of tub surround would be best for connecting tub and shower pipes at the corner, considering previous installation challenges?

So, I just took out the old tub surround and found out that the tub and shower pipes from the other bathroom are connected at this corner. I’m kind of stuck on which new surround would work best in this spot. None of them seem like they’ll fit quite right. I even attached a pic of the old surround for reference. Any advice?

Why not just repair the plumbing? That way, any solution will suffice. You could even lower the plumbing below the tub flange to accommodate any surround

Additionally, the steel plumbers tape should not come into direct contact with the copper pipe.

Just cover the copper with 10mil tape (similar to electricians tape) found in the plumbing aisle. Right off the bat

Another option is to extend the wall outward

This might be a good opportunity to replace the shower valve in the other bathroom if you’re not remodeling it anytime soon
