What type of trim is best suited for steep angled ceilings that isn’t too fancy, like quarter round or cove moulding?

What type of trim should I use for ceilings with steep angles? I’m not looking for anything too fancy since it doesn’t really match the style of my house – would quarter round be a good choice? Or maybe cove moulding? Or is there something else I should consider instead?

Cut some 3/4 inch pieces if you decide to go with quarter round

Feel free to use whatever you prefer, it should work fine

You could opt for quarter round or reverse quarter round, or any other option that appeals to you. Feel free to make it as fancy or as simple as you’d like.

Considering it’s wainscoting and tongue and groove, flat stock would be a good choice. Rip some clear pine strips that are 1.5-2″ wide by 1/2-3/4″ thick.

You might encounter a challenge with that corner. I suggest using flat stock. Cut a larger flat stock at an angle for the left wall. Make sure to create a small template board for the far wall to determine the necessary width for the matching rip.
