What should I do in this situation? Really let down by our tiler…
Could you ask him to repair it?
A lot of Schluter Rondecs come with a corner piece that fits right in.

The one I have is round, but it seems like you might need a square corner. The idea is still the same though.

Give the tiler a call and ask them to rectify the issue, otherwise they could be subjected to a barrage of negative reviews, harassment, and complaints to the BBB.
The finish doesn’t look good. I would not be satisfied with it.
It seems like it’s not fully completed. Can’t spot any Grout or caulk in the photo, so maybe he intends to work on that corner piece later? Have you inquired about it?
Was 2 years ago. I wasn’t pleased when he did that. I think I’ll ask someone else to come fix it

I’m not thrilled with the job and I don’t need to hear repeatedly that I shouldn’t have paid for it or had him fix it. I already know all of that. I’m hoping someone can actually help me with how to fix it. I’ve reached out to another tile installer for a second opinion. Just not sure if it’s a small repair.

How did the rest of the job turn out? Looks good, right? Except for this one thing? It seems like he might have forgotten to bring the proper piece with him and got distracted from coming back to install it. If he’s a friend of your husband, just give him a call and say, ‘hey thanks for the great work, but could you make some time to fix this small thing?’
