What is the specific term for shower handles that allow for pressure adjustment, as I am seeking to replace one that lacks this feature?

Do you happen to know what the proper term is for shower handles? I need to swap out one that doesn’t let me adjust the pressure – the only way to get low pressure is by turning the handle to cold. I’m on the hunt for a style that will let me adjust the pressure. Any ideas?

To find the valve you’re looking for, you can also search for “twin thermostatic shower valve”. I think the delta 17 is a good and more affordable option.

Nope, , I don’t see any difference

If your current valve doesn’t allow it, you may need to replace the entire valve to get that feature. Alternatively, you can install an adjustable valve between your shower head and down spout to control the pressure without the need for a shower valve replacement.
