What is the proper replacement for a crumbling splash guard on a sliding glass door that isn’t coated metal and hasn’t been successful thus far?

Hey, I need some help with this thing on my sliding glass door that’s falling apart. Do you know if it’s called a splash guard? And any ideas on replacing it with a non-coated metal option? I’ve tried a few things, but nothing seems to fit quite right. Any advice is much appreciated!
It serves as the railing to ensure your door stays in position.
In order to replace it, you’ll have to purchase an entire new surround.
That’s the piece that holds the glass shower door in place. Typically, they are made of metal. You can find replacement tracks for shower glass at home improvement stores like Home Depot, available in various metal finishes. It seems like the glass is secured with adhesive, and you may need to unscrew the track, which might also be glued in place.
Hey Josh! When you mention ‘surround,’ are you suggesting that we need to remove the glass door? If that’s the case, is there an alternative method to accomplish the same thing? I’m a bit worried about handling the weight of the glass and my lack of DIY skills. 😊
Thanks! I’ll search for a different shower rail.
You should reach out to the manufacturer of the shower door to inquire about replacement parts covered under the lifetime warranty.
It’s a metal track for the sliding glass door, which is a crucial part of the frame. If you’re aware of the manufacturer, that’s a good place to start. If not, you can contact a local custom glass shower company for assistance.
