What is this?
Seems to be a lighting arrangement with a timer, not quite sure about the necessity of the transformer. Maybe the timer operates on lower voltage.
Not sure what this is, but the wiring seems to be done very poorly. The wires look short. It includes a timing relay that seems to be powered by a small control transformer and 3 mini circuit breakers.

I totally agree with you about the pool control box. The timer is for the pump, and the transformer is for the pool light.
It’s just not good, that’s all there is to it.
Seems like it was handled by one of those electricians who think: ‘if I can’t see it from my house, it’s fine’
Can someone demonstrate how this controls electricity and functions?
