What is the best method for securely attaching stained and sealed boards together?

I’m a bit stuck on how to attach these stained boards together securely. Any ideas on the best way to do it? Thanks for your help!

Absolutely, . To minimize stress when inserting finished boards, consider attaching scab strips to the bottom edge with double sided masking tape for a smoother landing. Do you understand?

For securing cabinet finsih screws or using a Brad nailer, make sure to apply construction adhesive underneath first.

When dealing with a stairway wall that will be used frequently, especially by kids, I recommend predrilling and countersinking 3-inch screws. Afterwards, fill the holes with stained plugs to blend in.
