Replace the outlet with a FCI and stop whining about trivial things. I’m an electrician in Florida and I can assure you I know more about electrical work than you do.
Hey James, I really shouldn’t have to go over this with you. The outlet is ungrounded, so it’s clear that the microwave needs a ground. The best solution here would be to install a FCI instead of redoing the whole circuit.
No way! I knew it. That’s definitely a result of new construction and wiring. Someone made a mistake by putting in an ungrounded receptacle. It should be swapped out with a 3-wire receptacle.
Hey James leason, just admit that you’re mistaken… it’s much easier that way. And to make things worse, I’ll even give you the Art 100 explanation of an outlet.
Simply remove the ground from the outlets. It’s Florida
Congratulations , your comment is the best

Based on what I’ve seen in Florida, inspectors should never leave their vehicle.
Do you have a clue about fixing a microwave, ? I’m a Florida electrician and it seems like you’re clueless.

I’m an electrician from Florida and I saw this on a job site, I thought it was funny. I’m really sorry if it offended you, please forgive me haha.
James, please have a seat.
I wasn’t deeply offended by it. It just doesn’t seem right to call out a whole state based on ignorance.
Could you clarify my confusion?
I’m also an electrician from Florida, just trying to make a joke. I didn’t realize how easily offended people are in this group. oodness.
No way! I knew it. That’s definitely a result of new construction and wiring. Someone made a mistake by putting in an ungrounded receptacle. It should be swapped out with a 3-wire receptacle.
Sure, I would be happy to help you with that!
Watch out for James leason, he might blow up!
By the way, it’s called a receptacle, not an outlet. nec_nerd, make sure you use the accurate definition.
Hey James leason, I don’t mind if you want to kiss my butt… you should really learn how to code and insult someone properly. Come on.
Hey James leason, a receptacle is actually considered an outlet… what a moron.
My insults result in 30-day bans from people like you.

Hey everyone, please take a seat because class is starting now.
I’m not here to do your work….you are clearly not an electrician so don’t disrespect those of us who are. o find the wire stretcher
That’s quite strange.
You know what? I believe you nailed it! Just casually tossed it in with sheetrock screws for the win.
If this powers the fridge, make sure to remove the FI right after inspection. 😉
That’s a pretty harsh way to phrase it.
‘t trust Florida electricians 😑
Jesus. Complaining about everything. Books are more enjoyable up north 🥱
