What do you think about a ramp that goes from 4 wide at the base to 6 wide at the door for the shed?

I’m working on putting together a concrete ramp for our shed, mainly for my riding mower to use. The door is 6′ wide, but I only really need a 4′ wide path for the mower. Originally, I was thinking of going with a 6′ wide and 6′ long ramp, but that would require more materials.

I’m also considering a 4′ wide by 6′ long ramp, but I’m worried it might not look great. What do you think about a ramp that starts at 4′ wide and widens out to 6′ at the door? Would that look okay or just weird?

I’ve attached some photos for reference. Thanks for any input!

To be safe, the ramp should be at least as wide as the door. Maybe even a foot or two wider. It’ll prevent falls and twisted ankles

Make sure you’re satisfied with your shed. I can’t stand the blue lines. Red would be my choice, but green could work too

Definitely go with red lines, you’ll be happy you did

This is just a lawnmower, not a military vehicle, a wooden ramp should work perfectly and won’t need any additional support.

Watch out for blue and green, they may cause broken ankles.

How about using wood
