What color should I paint the underside of the concrete steps and back porch to cover peeling paint, considering black but feeling uncertain?

What color should we paint the bottom part of the concrete? You know, the light grey part. The steps could use a fresh coat too. And we can’t forget about the back porch – it’s peeling like crazy! I was thinking black, but I’m not entirely sure. Any suggestions?
For the foundation wall, maybe go with a light gray color? I’m not sure if drawing attention to it is the goal. Also, black steps at night might not be the best idea.
