What can I do to salvage my table that I thought was wood, but turns out to be pressed wood after stripping and sanding it?

Hey DIY pros! I could really use your input. I was in the process of refinishing what I thought was a solid wood table top, but it turns out it’s actually pressed wood. Any suggestions on how to proceed with the top? The rest of the table is black, if that helps.
