What are the options for trimming this fixer-upper without removing the siding?

I need to add some trim to the fixer-upper I purchased. What choices do I have? I want to add trim without taking off the siding.
Are you referring to J trim? Is that the same as J channel for vinyl siding?
You know, you could easily cut a 1×4 to fill in that spot. Add a fresh coat of paint and consider swapping out the worn brick mould. It will make a big difference in how it looks.
