Doesn’t matter if it’s or not. I’ve had to go fix outlets 12 times this year for the same issue, even in new installations.

Oh wow, backstabbing was definitely the issue on that ancient receptacle that should have been replaced ages ago. I don’t condone bad wiring practices, but seriously….

That old-fashioned outlet is designed for either a 14 or a 12 gauge wire, they tend to loosen over time
