What are some creative kid-proof shower door or curtain solutions for a sloped ceiling attic bathroom like mine?

Hey, this is the bathroom my kids use upstairs. The ceiling slopes because it’s in the finished attic, so I’m looking for suggestions on a shower door or curtain that’s kid-proof and won’t let water spill out. I already tried trimming a regular shower curtain, but it didn’t fully solve the problem. Does anyone have any cool setups in their attic bathrooms that could give me some ideas?

Maybe consider using a curtain and liner labeled for shower stalls. I can’t recall if they are narrower and longer or the same length as a standard shower curtain though.

When you look, there is a glass panel instead of a door. It functions well and prevents water from spilling out. It’s 36 inches wide.

Consider getting a custom door made by a local glass company. If not, you could try making a plexiglass panel with a shower curtain as an alternative.

Hey, , check out how I used textured plexiglass to create this shape.

Wow, this looks beautiful, !

Could it be that the water is splashing over the curtain?

Hey , just a heads up that the shower curtain should be inside the tub. If you have a fabric curtain, consider getting a polyester liner.

You can find an extra long curtain liner on Amazon. It extends about 3″ onto the shower pan and helps contain water. My fabric curtain is purely for decoration.

Pinterest is a great source for ideas on this. I have saved one for a future project. I believe it’s one of the simpler, more affordable options while waiting for a custom glass door.

If you’re not ready for a major remodel like the pictures shown above, consider getting a water dam from Amazon. It’s a rubber strip that helps block water. Just search for ‘shower water dam’ on Amazon.
