Struggling with removing wallpaper – any tips on distinguishing between wallpaper and paint layers, and what texture is the other wall?

Hey guys, so I removed this wallpaper and now I’m struggling to completely get rid of it. The problem is I’m not sure where to stop. The bright yellow seems like wallpaper backing, the light orange feels like paint, and the dark orange feels smooth. Any tips or advice on how to fix this? Also, can anyone tell me what kind of texture the other wall has? Thanks!

You can easily score it with a paper tiger and then use a remover. That should make it all come off without much effort.

It looks like the texture is orange peel that was applied too heavily and knocked down prematurely, not allowing it to set properly.

Make sure to sand it down using a sanding screen to prevent clogging.

Hey , I was a bit hesitant about sanding it down because of the paint. I usually stick to screens for cleanup after taping. Appreciate the insight!

So, what’s your vision for the final look of the wall? What’s the end goal here?
