So, I was trying to add some new trim to the stair case and couldn’t help but notice how off I made the bottom angle. It was kinda bugging me, so I gave it another shot and got it right the second time. Moral of the story: don’t be afraid to keep trying until you’re happy with the result!
If you sanded and painted it, theoretically it wouldn’t have made a difference since the joints wouldn’t be seen. But I do believe the second attempt is much improved with visible joints.
