Struggling to remove 80 years of paint from 8 wood doors – any effective techniques besides paint strippers and heat guns?

I’ve got 8 old wood doors covered in about 80 years worth of paint that I’m looking to strip off. I’ve tried using paint strippers but they’re a hassle with all the waiting and mess. I’ve had better luck with manual heat guns. Any other ideas for getting rid of this old paint?
Not sure where you’re located, but remember this is the World Wide Web. In Canada, we have industrial tank furniture strippers that get the job done in just 1 day, so you can start sanding the next morning. Location makes a difference.
I’ve tried the Circa paint stripper, not the one you mentioned.
It’s a franchise of a company, not just a product.
Oh, I see! 👍
Which company are you referring to? I’m located in the Kansas City, Kansas area in the U.S.
‘s Dip & Strip service
You might want to consider soda blasting as an option, just be cautious.
If your paint is really old, chances are you have lead paint which means using a heat gun or soda blaster is not a good idea. The safest option would be to use a paint stripper. After applying, cover with plastic wrap to prevent it from drying out and then scrape it off the next day. Best of luck.
