Struggling to adjust a recessed door, any alternative methods to fix misalignment without access to hinges?

Hey there! I could really use some advice. So, I have this door that leads outside and you can see daylight through it. The only issue is that the door isn’t centered in the frame. I was able to take out the pins and shim it to make everything look good. However, now I’m stuck because I can’t get channel locks or anything between the hinges and the wall due to the way the door is recessed. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this problem?
What’s the purpose of using channel locks in this scenario?
Haha, channel locks, wrench…they’re basically the same thing!
But I can’t find the wrench or channel locks, where did they go?
I have to adjust the knuckles to align them properly in order to insert the pin back in…
Suggests loosening the screws, inserting the pin, and then tightening the screws back.
It’s also possible that the hinge screws are not there. Since the door is open, you should be able to line up the pins as well.
