Should I use a primer or flex primer before applying clear over wood flooring to enhance its detail and should I consider using wood oil stain before topping with epoxy resin mix from Amazon?

I’m planning on applying a clear coat over the subfloor of my new shed. I want to add some glitter and a pearl to the clear coat for some extra flair. Do you think I should use a primer or a flex primer before applying the clear coat, or can I just apply the clear directly over the wood to enhance its details? I’m also considering using a wood oil stain that I already have before applying the clear coat. I’m thinking of purchasing a two-gallon epoxy resin mix on Amazon for this project.
Why are you painting or epoxying the subfloor? Are you planning on adding another layer of flooring on top of it? litter and pearl on the floor… if I come over, do I need to pay an entrance fee? So many questions…
Haha, it’s the flooring that comes with the shed I ordered. It’s already pre-built. I think I should protect it somehow before using it, and might as well make it look nice too.
I live in a place where it snows a lot, so the floor tends to get wet and dirty during the winter months.
‘ stain will make it look nice, but it won’t provide much protection. Paint or epoxy will end up chipping and peeling. Have you thought about using wood preservative instead?
