Should I tackle the cracked and missing grout in my old bathroom floor tiles by removing and regrouting or simply grouting over it?

Hey, so I noticed that the grout between the floor tiles in my bathroom is cracked and some of it is missing. Do you think it would be better to remove and regrout it, or can I just go ahead and grout over it?
That was a simple initial attempt. Absolutely.
Make sure to clean out the joint before regrouting.
It’s necessary to remove it; otherwise, it’s just a temporary fix.
You can get rid of the old grout using manual tools to scrape it out, but it will require a lot of elbow grease. Consider investing in a multi tool with a grout removal blade to cut all the way down to the bottom where the tile is. Vacuum out the grout. It costs around $11 a bag at Home Depot or Lowe’s.
Is the floor showing signs of flexing?
