Should I install all the drywall, including the ceiling, after the shower is installed to avoid damaging the shower base when taping/mudding above it?

Hey everyone,
We picked up this item for our rental property and we’re planning to set it up this weekend. Right now, we’ve pretty much stripped the bathroom down to the studs and we’re getting ready to put up new drywall.
I know that the drywall will cover up the screws holding the shower walls in place. So, do you think it would be better to wait and install all the drywall, including the ceiling, after the shower is in place? My concern is how I’ll be able to tape and mud the area above the shower. I’m worried that if I put my ladder inside the shower to reach the ceiling, I might end up damaging the shower base and possibly cracking it…
Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks a bunch!

The ladder will be okay in the shower. Just lay down drop cloths to keep it safe.

I recently switched to using PVC for all my shower trims. It’s much better than dealing with cutting drywall strips and all the messy mudding, finishing, and painting. Plus, it’s waterproof and gives a really clean finish.

Sure! Please provide me with the text you would like me to rephrase.

Make sure your walls are nice and straight before putting together these kits. They need a precise fit, so it can be a hassle if the prep work isn’t done right.

I recently set up this shower. It was a bit tricky getting the sidewalls to snap into the back piece, but I was able to make adjustments by accessing the studs on the side. Make sure to dry fit it before using any adhesive. And don’t worry, it’s fine to put a ladder on top of a drop cloth (or a packing blanket in my case).
