Should I be concerned about potential structural issues if I use a stucco patch to repair a large crack in my garage exterior wall?

I noticed a big crack on my garage wall and got some stucco patch to repair it. Do you think I need to be concerned about any structural problems?
You can’t judge just by looking at a picture, you need to hire an expert (like a structural engineer) to inspect
No way, things break sooner or later
Our house, which was constructed in 1865, has a crack in a section of the basement. Our home inspector pointed it out before we bought the house and mentioned that it was due to settling and leaning towards the back. Given that the house is over 130 years old, I’m okay with that being the only issue. By the way, I patched the cracks in the first year of living here and haven’t encountered any problems. 👍
Try inserting something thin into the gap. If it’s just the stucco, you should be okay. If the crack goes deeper, it’s best to get it inspected. The location and direction of the crack is a bit worrying, but take a closer look before getting too worried.
