Can you please turn off the fan? Thank you!

Anton Larsen

Make sure to add some string pulls to muffle the sound of it hitting the light. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Isabela Gaytán

Adjust the blades for better balance.

Sologub Olhivskiy

Try adding shrink tube to the chain where it’s making contact with the light

Benjamin Stegmaier

The noise is caused by the metal cords hitting the lampshade. Maybe try putting something around them 🤷‍♀️

Navami Nagane

That metal dome up there is causing the noise. Try using some pole foam tape to stop it from bumping into things.

Lloyd Hawkins

Even if you try to fix it, the unbalanced blades will still eventually wear through the foam

Navami Nagane

So how do we go about fixing it?

Luukas Heikkinen

Facepalm

If your fan is wobbling, it might be due to unbalanced blades. There are videos on YouTube that can show you how to balance them. Sometimes, the blade mount can also get bent if someone accidentally hits the blade while it’s spinning. ‘t worry, we’ve all been there!

I once saw a ceiling fan spin so fast that it knocked a baseball through a double paned window. I won’t reveal my source…

Sobislava Butko

Had a very similar experience to what occurred here.

Robert Young

Make sure the blades are balanced

Allie Miller

Please switch it off.

Gorana Isaković

So, to solve the issue, I simply lowered the volume. Problem solved!

Dorofeya Vasyunik

Oh, it’s the metal cord… The wind is making it tap against the glass light fixture… Maybe tie it up or wrap it around the light.
