Need suggestions for paint colors and curb appeal ideas to complement stucco and siding mix on house without breaking the bank?

Hey there! I’m a newbie here and could use some advice. My husband wants to stucco the entire house, but I managed to convince him to keep the siding on the upper part for some extra texture and appeal. Now we’re stuck trying to figure out paint colors and ways to spruce up our curb appeal without breaking the bank. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I know white isn’t everyone’s favorite, but I personally like it.

Andrew Flores

Definitely!

I’m hoping you can update the windows on the lower level. I agree with you, let’s keep the siding, just paint it a matching color with the stucco section. And let’s find a way to hide the garbage cans and hose.

I was thinking of adding some fake windows here in the blue area that I highlighted.

William Thomsen

That’s funny, !

The way the addition above the garage is positioned concerns me. Where does the water drain off to? Have you noticed any signs of water damage inside the house?

Karl James

If it were up to me, I would stucco the whole house to give it a more cohesive look. The current addition is a bit too noticeable and it takes away from the overall appeal.

I made a visual for you. Hope it gives you a better idea!

Seems nice.

This wooden garage door is so charming.

Braxton Edwards

I agree. They could switch up the garage door by using garage skins instead of buying a new one.

Great job 👍🏼✅💯

Could you assist with mine?

Braxton Edwards

I’ll have a go for you. What’s your vision and what sort of budget are you looking at? I ask to prevent going overboard 😂.

I say go ahead with your preferences and I can select and do some bit by bit!

Working on the house’s paint would be more time-consuming so can you handle the landscaping and colors first so I can visualize it. I plan to work on the landscaping this month! The painting might take a month or two, plus I already have deck stain for the front in the same brown hue. It will look nicer!

I am really grateful for your help! Thanks a ton

Braxton Edwards

Sounds good. I’ll give it a shot.

Braxton Edwards

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to assist. Can’t send pictures. That’s pretty uncommon as well.

What material is used at the bottom? I would suggest painting it light gray, the siding white, and the door either gloss black or white. Adding two wooden vertical posts to the front porch area could also be a nice touch.

White really makes a home look bigger than any other color, especially if you have an accent color like trim or the door.

Your house is so unique and I love it! Sorry for the bad phone editing, but you can easily modernize it and add some plants or pots for extra curb appeal. Matching the front door to the garage and refreshing all the white trim around windows and wood accents should do the trick.

Reginald Kelly

Extend the carport/covered porch to the break line of your roof.
