Need advice for framing windows that are nearly flush with the wall and how to handle a shortened sill on a repurposed window – should I extend it back out?

It’s making progress!

Do you have any tips for how to frame the outside of these windows? I’ve done a lot of research on YouTube, but the windows are ALMOST flush with the wall. Is there anything special I should do to account for this?

Also, I had a bit of a mishap with a repurposed window and now the sill (?) is shorter than before. I’m thinking of smoothing out the edge, but do you think it’s important to extend it back to its original length (maybe 2 inches)?

Thanks in advance! 🫶

Modern replacement windows typically fit seamlessly so I don’t foresee that causing any problems. Are you planning to install drip edge flashing above the windows? And have you ensured they are properly flashed on the sides as well?
