The grey stone isn’t the best choice for a bathroom – it’s more suited for fireplaces. Cleaning can be a challenge.
Arker I do realize it will be difficult to clean, we decided to take that chance
Maybe try leaning on it without clothes first…. You won’t appreciate the scratches you’ll receive…..
Arker they have the freedom to use that product wherever they please! Lol
Arker no need to stress about it lol
Arker check out this wall that looks like… so I might not be completely insane 😂
Arker accurate
I pity those who choose to use this material, as it tends to lose its shine after a few months of use. Polished tile or stone might be a better option, as porous stone can be a nightmare to maintain.
Maybe we’ll be pleasantly surprised, arker! 🤞🏻
In my 37 years of renovations, I’ve learned that using such products in wet areas can be risky. It’s hard to seal properly and the grouting might not work well. Just sharing my experience – no warranty.
How about a large size soft black or dark charcoal tile for the floor? Avoid oblong shapes to clash with the wall stones. Alternatively, consider a patterned floor with muted black and off white hexagon shapes.
How about a soft black or dark charcoal in a large size (not oblong to clash with the wall stones), or a patterned floor with subtle black, off white hexagons similar to the black ones?
Thanks, ! I agree that a large pattern size is the way to go. I’m thinking of avoiding dark colors to prevent the room from feeling small.
I was thinking of using the hexagon in a color that matches the shower wall color and adding a few black hexagons here and there to tie it all together.
