Looking for advice on laying 12×12 pavers to stabilize a portable basketball hoop on grass next to the driveway?

Do you have any advice on how to set up pavers for a basketball hoop on the grass by the driveway? Should we go with 12×12 or smaller pavers? We just want to make sure the base is well supported.

Just one bag of concrete should be enough for the job.
Make sure to wear an N95 mask when working with concrete on all four sides of a 2×4. Also, remember to level the form before pouring.

Pavers might move around as time goes on. Make sure to include drainage (gravel) underneath the pavers and compact them well. To add an extra layer of protection for the concrete, consider putting plastic underneath before pouring. Also, are you planning to use a water-weighted backboard?
