Hey, just wanted to let you know about the bathroom updates – we put in new LVP flooring, a fresh vanity, some wainscoting, and palisades tile. Oh, and the best part? No need for any demo work!
Project supplies cost approximately $1500
I really like the flooring! What color is it? Did you install it on top of the tile? Is that how you avoided demolition?
E is not doing a demo. The wainscoting was glued over half of the wall tile. The Palisades tile is placed right over the tub tile. The LVP is installed directly over the old floor tile.
The deadline for the project has been extended.
This product is currently out of stock.
Can you please provide the necessary documents?
Great job, !! Appreciate you sharing all the details
I appreciate your effort, but how strong is that? If you glue a “tile” like linoleum onto your walls over the existing tiles, do you think it will lead to mold issues down the line?
We made sure to use waterproofing on the walls before installing. https://youtu.be/jHYzYkojuYs?si=tVEzDlhmFiYOlHT6
They easily snap together. First, we glued the trim on the inside corners. Then we decided between a stacked or brick look. We started on the back wall from bottom to top, ensuring to measure and cut accurately. On the sides, we started with matching cut pieces and continued up level by level. Trim was added on the sides and top. Note that we did not have any windows or cut-in shelves.
The materials used are as follows: 1. Bathroom floor – 2 boxes of Lifeproof Driftwood Beach LVP for $63.99 each. 2. Bathroom vanity for $349. 3. Brush nickel faucet for $69.00. 4. Tub/shower area with 2 boxes of Palisades Carrara color tile for $76.78 each.
Well done!!
