Jim doesn’t need to worry about a work mistake costing him his life.
If they decided to do that, all those people who managed to pay off their debts should contribute more in taxes. It’s the right thing to do. If the government gives me money, they will tax me even more.
He is currently funding numerous subsidies for corporations. Why not eliminate student debt?! Additionally, if an individual holds a Master’s Degree, they should be able to teach
Then quit supporting politicians who only look out for themselves and their finances. We did have a candidate named Bernie Sanders, but you were afraid because the people you voted for kept bombarding you with false claims that his ideas were terrible, even though they were effective.

This post has me feeling anxious now that I know the government is attempting to make Joe pay Jim’s debt.
The issue is that Joe Biden is planning to address student loan debt, which some may view as unfair. Those who did not engage in borrowing to finance their education may end up bearing the financial burden.

I’ve been in EE for 20 years now and I earn a lot more than Joe. Investing in a valuable major pays off. However, I believe in letting my kids choose their paths, whether it involves college or trade schools. The ROI for degrees is declining every year.

It’s problematic that some apprentice programs reject educated women like me. These programs often exploit workers by offering low wages for intensive training periods. The bias against educated women in trades is concerning. Philosophers could help bring fairness to such programs.

I used to think that college was for losers! Many end up in jobs that seem pointless.
Hey Chris, did you see the news today? It’s crazy how some people in college don’t seem to have a clue about what’s going on or any knowledge of history.
You Biden supporters! I love you all! So I made a spelling mistake! Pay attention to what you’re typing! I’m finished! No more responses to rude people! 👍🤣😂

False! I hold advanced degrees in philosophy (seriously, not joking) and had to assist a WWII veteran in his 80s with electrical issues in his old home. Despite challenges, I taught myself how to rewire the entire house, leveraging my logical thinking skills from my philosophy education. Also, my background in ethics motivated me to provide unpaid care for the veteran. Society undervalues philosophy degrees, which is a costly mistake. Remember, history shows the importance of intellectuals. Student loan debt issues are a result of systemic cheating by for-profit companies. Forgiveness is crucial to rectify this injustice.

I don’t tolerate disparaging comments about electricians or trades jobs from educated professionals. Having personally dealt with electrical work, I understand and respect the skills and hard work involved. Dismissing educated philosophers is just as wrong.

After 20 years as an electrician, I decided to go to college and earn a B.S. in Engineering. etting a college degree is eye-opening – you realize how much you don’t know. It shows you how not so smart you were all this time, and how not smart you still are. You start to understand your limitations as you see others surpassing you effortlessly. When I went back to work as a project engineer trainee, some young electricians would occasionally underestimate me (just like this meme suggests) until they learned about my experience – then they stopped.
McPherson, I want to commend you for your achievements. However, I need to point out that despite obtaining a college degree, things did not go as planned, contrary to what successful adults in my life had led me to believe. I discovered how little I actually know about the world. While my peers surpassed me and relocated to costly cities, I realized that having a degree no longer holds the same weight with employers. The value of a degree has significantly diminished. I have been working as an electrician for the past 4 years, and it’s been better than all my previous jobs combined. I am pleased that you have gained valuable experience and appreciation due to your degree, but not all degrees are worth the investment of time, money, and effort required to obtain them. This meme oversimplifies the situation. The benefits of having a degree have decreased. The newer generation is starting to realize that college may not be as beneficial as it once was.
