Is this Federal Pacific breaker box safe to use, or should I consider an alternative option?

Do you think this is a Federal Pacific breaker box? Or is it safe to use?
Those are all Square D breakers

I totally agree with you – it would be so much easier if there weren’t decals on every breaker except for the main one. And I agree, should definitely be booted.
The label states that “this equipment was designed and tested by Square D.”

That appears to be a Square D QO panel. The label on the inside cover indicates it is a QO.
How about using Homeline instead?
Wallen pointed out that SQ D breakers with a trip window can be a red flag when the breaker is tripped, potentially costing more money.
Wallen explained that the homeline is made of aluminum, not copper. This insight was shared by a retired Sq D field engineer.

I completely agree with that QO is a top-notch breaker and bussing. In my 35 years of experience, I’ve never seen a burnt buss on QO, unlike other breakers, including Homeline. It’s a shame that price often outweighs quality, but on the bright side, it does keep me busy replacing panels!

Mentioned that they used to be better when they made them with a full stud opening wider.
What’s the deal with them being the best? Is it because they overprice or because they can’t seem to tighten their screws properly?

Managed to complete 4 panel changes last month for $8k-$10k each (including permits, surge protection, and additional circuits in most cases) all on his own and in just one day for all but one installation.
