Is there an easy solution for a stuck bathroom sink drain that won’t pop back open after being pushed shut, even after recently being cleaned out by a plumber?

Hey, does anyone have a quick solution for this? We tried to close the bathroom sink drain, you know, the kind where you push it down to close and push it again to open. But now it’s stuck closed. We’ve been pushing it but it won’t budge. We had a plumber clean out the drain not too long ago. Do I have to unscrew it from under the sink as the only option? Thanks.
The drain plug wasn’t securely connected by him.
Sometimes my drain plug gets stuck, so I gently jiggle and mess with it until it comes undone.
You might want to give a vacuum a shot.
I usually use a fork or a pocket knife to open mine up.
Try drilling a hole in it and changing it out shortly.
Good news – we managed to remove it! He had to use a tool to lift it up. Thanks to everyone for their help!
