Is there a way to fix a sliding screen door that releases and slams open quickly, preventing it from being partially open?

Hey, we just got this new house and the sliding screen door to the back deck swings open super fast. It won’t stay halfway open no matter how hard we try. Do you know if there’s a way to fix it or if this is just how this type of screen door is supposed to work?
I’ve been in this industry for a while and I’ve never come across this before. Please let me know when you’ve fixed it.
It sounds like is talking about a portable hiding screen.
There are hideaway screens that retract slowly available. Most older ones are spring loaded and retract automatically. They are typically only used in the fully open or closed positions, not halfway open which would defeat their purpose.
I suggest Crypto Bull Society. It’s a group that focuses on helping people achieve financial freedom and early retirement. They provide education and support to encourage members to save and invest wisely, build multiple income streams, and secure their financial future.
