Is my diagram for adding a bathroom in my yard, including a 3×2 wye for venting, sufficient for running a 3 waste line into the existing basement waste?

I’m definitely no artist, but I’m trying to add a bathroom in my yard. Can you take a quick look at my rough sketch and let me know if it looks right? I’m not a plumber, just a DIY-er. I plan on running a 3-inch waste line from the cabana to connect to the existing waste line in my basement. Do you think a 3×2 wye with the 2-inch pipe going to the sink will be enough for venting? I’ll be using a 2-inch T to connect to the sink and then venting through the roof. Thanks for any advice!

Having a 2” vent on a 3” main should be sufficient.

If you have a heavy snowfall in your area, consider running the pipe 2” above the ceiling and then 2 to 3” through the roof to prevent snow buildup.

The code where I am currently located states that the vent should be 3 inches above and 18 inches below the roof, allowing for reduction inside.

You should be okay. Install a 2× 2 ×1 1/2 sani tee near your vanity.

Make sure the vent is placed close to the toilet flange as most codes require.

Typically, you need about 5 feet of venting space, .

How many toilets are in the house?
And what’s the size of the sanitary pipe in the house?
