Is it normal for gutters to drip at joints, or is a faulty seal joint the likely cause of the leakage in this situation?

I don’t think this is supposed to be dripping, but I just wanted to double-check with someone who knows more. Can you take a look at the circled area in the picture?
Also, any idea what might be causing this? It’s happening at every corner where two gutters meet. Is it a faulty seal or joint issue? Thanks in advance!

Just make sure the trough is completely dry before reapplying silicone to it.

Remember to caulk every joint in the gutter, there is a special sealant made specifically for gutters. The surface must be dry and clean prior to application.

Used gutter sealant

Make sure to add caulk to those areas

Hey, just a friendly reminder that it’s silicone, not caulk! 😄

Olivia Lawson

Make sure to dry it out thoroughly and then apply the silicone. 👍

Definitely! Make sure to clean everything really well before you put on the new gutter seal.
