Is it feasible for a beginner to replace vinyl siding and garage door weatherstripping, and do you have any helpful advice for tackling the task on my own?

Hey there! I have a piece of vinyl siding that needs replacing and the weatherstripping on my garage door is also on the fritz. The estimate I got for the job is $800 – yikes! Do you think it’s something I could handle myself, even though I’m a beginner at this sort of thing? Any advice or pointers you could give me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much in advance!
Replacing the garage weather rubber strip is quite expensive, you can purchase it at Lowe’s or Home Depot and the instructions are easy to follow. Not sure how many vinyl strips you need to replace or if you can find the exact color match, depending on the age of the house
If the reason for replacing the vinyl siding is just because of that barely noticeable scratch, I’d probably leave it as is or touch it up with a little paint or something…
Replacing the weatherstripping should be pretty simple.

Hey, that anonymous participant doesn’t seem too impressed by the picture.. fixing vinyl siding can be quite tricky, many installers struggle with it 😄
