Is it feasible and cost-effective to lower a weatherboard home onto a slab foundation in Australia, and what are the potential challenges and costs involved in this project?

I’m considering buying a three-bedroom weatherboard home that’s raised about 500mm off the ground. Do you think it’s feasible to bring it down to ground level by laying a slab underneath? I know it could be a pricey and complicated process, but I’m curious to learn more. How would I go about researching this idea, and what obstacles do you think I might encounter? Thanks for any advice you can offer! (By the way, the house I’m eyeing doesn’t have deck boards around the base like in this picture.)
