Is epoxy grout as easy to apply as sanded grout, and do you have any additional tips to ensure a successful finish?

I’ve worked with sanded grout a bunch, but this is my first go with epoxy grout. After reading the instructions, it seems like it should be a breeze to apply using a rubber float. Any other advice? I’d hate to mess things up right at the end.
Follow the instructions carefully.
Avoid applying a lot at once. Start with a small amount, shape and clean it the way you like, then move on to the next area.
I’ve used it twice in two different bathrooms and I highly recommend trying it on a tile first before using it on set tile.
I tried out Spectalock 1 epoxy grout. I’m no expert, only my second time grouting. It’s easy to put on and take off. Just as simple as sanded grout (my first time), but it looks better on the tile. I found matching silicone colors for the corners and it looks fantastic. I highly recommend it. You don’t need to worry too much.
Hey, ! Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it. I’m not too worried, just heard it could be pretty sticky. I just want to make sure I have the right float. I’m curious to see how the excess will clean off the tiles. The instructions mention using 3 specialty sponges, but I’m used to just a bucket of water and a grout sponge after letting it haze for 15-20 minutes!
Hey, ! I tried using a bucket of water and a grout sponge, then followed up with a microfiber cloth for cleanup. After it dried, I used a Doodlebug white cleansing pad to scrub and a microfiber cloth to wipe off any stubborn hazing that I missed.
