Is a tiny gap on the Louisville ladder’s attic ladder acceptable, or should I be looking into other options to fix it?

I noticed a small gap on my Louisville attic ladder. I tried adjusting the feet closest to it, but it didn’t fix the issue. I can’t make new holes without running into existing ones. Is it okay to have a tiny gap, or should I consider other options? Any suggestions?
