Okay, I haven’t seen one in a million years.
Some people still use simplex outlets, but I don’t use them at all. I’ve had others try to convince me it’s code for certain appliances, but they have no clue what they’re talking about. There’s no way I would ever make myself use a simplex outlet.
We’re not coding it, but we’re starting to install more of them because we want to make sure that only one thing is plugged into a dedicated circuit.
